i just got an offer on something
    that feels huge to me
    and oh-so-scary
    and i just keep think
    can i do it?
and deep down, i am thinking
who am i to think that i even should be doing this?

i watched this video twice already. and i think will watch it again! :) so true…it takes great amounts of courage to do art full time. perhaps it will always be a risk but, my god, i am so much happier for it. :)

    lots of love,

Goosebumps! Oh how I love this! Thank you for sharing their inspiring thoughts and ideas and visions with us. As girls and women, we must dare. For me, there is no alternative.

Thanks Darlene, now we have to see it. They say there will be screenings in Boston and Chicago (the two cities we commute in between), so I have to keep an eye on it!

I just about burst in flames of technicolour joy watching this! Seriously…I LOVED it…and I believe the more things like this post…and this video that are put out into the world, the greater the chance that one day we will take it to heart. Who do I think I am? Definate food for thought…

And I did something a little brave this weekend…sang in front of about twenty strangers. It was scary, and thrilling at the same time…but then all good, because they wanted me to keep going!

Thanks so much for this. I hope your having a wonderful weekend.

    Smooches! :)

I did something completely out of character this weekend! I went to a biker rally and danced in the rain with my beautiful husband while the band played Bush and Dave Matthews songs. Talk about complete silliness! We walked home– tipsy and in love, splashing in puddles, singing and kissing. I got home and mascara was smeared from cheek to cheek and my hair hung like limp noodles from the rain. What a beautiful and bold way to spend a Friday night!
