tulips

“In a gentle way, you can shake the world.” (mahatma gandhi)

gentle goodnight

“The more ugly, older, more cantankerous, more ill and poorer I become, the more I try to make amends by making my colors more vibrant, more balanced and beaming.” (vincent van gogh)

always a contradiction
gentle strength resides
vibrant colour bounces
soft beauty guides
across passion’s vivid stroke

soft words give guidance
teetering on the edge of a bar stool
filled with laughter of soft breezes
on a park bench

she smiles gently
laughs loudly
orates in cycles of lucid fury
relaxes into listening to a heart
gently beating thought

and their lips meet
two lips
embraced in passion’s dance
singing a gentle song of love.

I LOVE tulips so much. I was thrilled to get to have them in my bouquet when Chris and I were married. Even though it was the end of September the little flower shop by the beach had plenty!

Ahhhh…tulips! They just sing of Spring! Those gorgeous photos are proof positive of how beauty and colour can warm our hearts…they look so delicate and soft.

And then there are the words…your words…with these few words I could just so clearly visualize these people…

Thanks for this terrific post!
Have a wonderful, light-filled weekend!

Beauty…

I cannot get over your eye. And your sense of colour. And it’s so funny, because whenever I see these clear, strong, vibrant colours now, I think of you! Jewel.

I love that.

At first I was mad about losing my iPod and no one turning it in. But now I think, you know, I’m going to make an extra effort to get people their lost items back. Because I know how it made me feel. I don’t want other people to feel that way.

I almost bought some tulips the other day but the price made me hold back. Now I wish I had just bought them.

I look at these photos and wonder about your space Daisies, do you have your own studio? How did you cast those colours? Where do you let your creative talents loose…???

Posted by Sacred Suzie on 10 March 2008 @ 1pm

That first tulip blew me away - it’s gorgeous! Looks like a painting and the colours tug at me on deep levels, just pulling me in. Love this: filled with laughter of soft breezes
on a park bench. No words for it. Love to you xoxo
