december views

Last November, I participated in Nablopomo and I needed a break from writing about my life. So I took a vow of silence here. A no rules vow of silence because there are enough rules in life and I didn’t want to add anymore to the mix especially during the busy holiday season. I did it for me but a lot of you opted to join me and we built a little bit of fun community around it and I like tradition which is why I participated in Nablopomo again this year and which is why I am bringing back December Views, Year II.

I really want to spend some time with the visual, sinking into the silence and observing the world around me, creating my view of that world and I thought I would share that here.

Rather than blogging words, I am going to blog images for the month of december. There are no rules and though I intend on blogging images everyday ~ that is not the intention, rather then intention is to allow myself to enjoy the quiet, to allow myself a month of no stress creativity and to allow myself to share a bit of my world with you in a completely different way than I usually do. I am excited.

Some of you are opting to join me, the more the merrier I say. If at any time during December, you want to do the same, let me know and I’ll link you. I think it would be fun to see your world through images. This doesn’t have to be high arty photography though it can be. It doesn’t have to be sharp photograhy though it can be. It just has to reflect your days, your life, your thoughts or your reflection. Feel free to join at any time … use words, don’t use words and remember it really is all about having a month of beauty, however that looks for you.
